Dick is the Founder and CEO of MFO. Dick is responsible for leading the firm’s strategy and operations in addition to advising portfolio companies’ senior management team in developing and implementing corporate strategies.
Prior to founding MFO, Dick spent 40+ years at Lehman Brothers where he was most recently the Chairman of the Board and CEO. Dick previously served as a member of the Business Council, the International Business Council of the World Economic Forum, the Board of Governors of the New York Stock Exchange, the Board of Directors of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and currently serves on the Board of Trustees of New York Presbyterian Hospital. Dick graduated from the University of Colorado and received his MBA from the New York University’s Stern School of Business

Marc joined MFO at its inception in 2009 and is responsible for overseeing the firm’s investing and advisory services strategy. Marc is also responsible for managing operations for the firm. Prior to joining MFO, Marc worked at Lehman Brothers initially on the investment banking team and later executing proprietary M&A transactions in Lehman Brothers’ Corporate Strategy Group. Marc graduated Magna cum laude from Middlebury College.

Seth oversees the firm’s finance, human resources, and compliance departments. Prior to joining MFO in 2024, Seth spent 11 years managing operations for several Registered Investment Advisors. Prior to that, Seth was the Director of Operations at two hedge funds. Seth graduated from Brandeis University and received his MBA at New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Charles’ responsibilities include financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction origination and structuring. Prior to joining MFO in 2017, Charles was an investment banking analyst at Fieldstone Private Capital Group focused on M&A and capital solicitation assignments in renewable and thermal power, infrastructure, energy efficiency, and alternative fuels. Charlie graduated from the University of Vermont.

Danny’s responsibilities include financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction origination and structuring. Prior to joining MFO in 2023, Danny was an investment banking analyst at Kroll Securities focused on M&A transactions in healthcare services. Prior to Kroll, Danny was an investment banking analyst at Truist Securities in Internet, Media and Entertainment. Danny graduated from Washington and Lee University.

Tristan’s responsibilities include financial modeling, due diligence, and transaction origination and structuring. Prior to joining MFO in 2022, Tristan was an investment banking intern at Cedar Street Capital focused on due diligence for investments in FinTech, Cryptocurrency / Blockchain, and Gaming. Tristan graduated from Fordham University and received his MBA at New York University’s Stern School of Business.

Marta joined MFO in 2019 as a Senior Executive Assistant. Prior to joining MFO, Marta spent over 10 years supporting senior executives at Cerberus Capital. Prior to Cerberus, Marta worked in a similar role for several hedge funds. Marta graduated from Sarah Lawrence College.
